Ghostly possession, family drama and a touch of dark humor. I narrate from the POV of a serial killer possessed by the ghost of a mother willing to do ANYTHING to be "reunited" with her son in the afterlife.

Steak was 40% off the other day. I marinated over night and make incredible tacos.

Made me think of this Lula quote from his comeback presidential campaign a few years back:

"'They think that the poor don't have rights,' he told a crowd of supporters in one of São Paulo's poorest neighborhoods last week. But he would fight for their rights, he said. 'The right to barbecue with family on the weekend, to buy a little picanha, to that piece of picanha with the fat dipped in flour, and to a glass of cold beer,' he shouted to cheers."

No, I'm not narrating this 140 year old children's history book, but I love it.

In all my time I've worked for @bostonhistorycompany no one ever told me about geese joining the British assault on Bunker Hill and knocking over patriots (the book doesn't reference the goose AT ALL, but cheers to the illustrator for the baffling artistic flourish).

Old books are every book nerds favorite gift, so it's fitting @melissamdejesus bought me this gift at an old gift store for less than $10. What a find.

The relationship between Kerry Sevvers and Six, his unsanctioned, sentient AI-companion, is one of my favorite parts of the autonomous weapons division series.

As someone who loves Star Trek and the sci-fi theme of sentience and new forms of life, Six gave me so much to work with as an actor and narrator.

It's been almost two years since @keidwritesbooks contacted me about a kickass military sci-fi/space opera he wrote called "Intrusion Protocol".

I recorded this in the spring of 2023, a pivotal time in my life when I had just returned from my first in-person #audiopublishersassociation conference and still felt very new to the industry.

Soon afterwards, I started booking more audiobooks and started my Freedom Trail tour guide job. In 2024, I took a break from audiobooks to focus on my health, working primarily in public history, while still doing workshops with @leonardoaudiobooks and developing my craft.

I was working CONSTANTLY, performing live on the freedom trail, fact checking for my employer and producing a very silly trivia podcast/recreational torture project called @getshockedpod, and began production on book 3 of the Autonomous Weapons Division series in November.

Working on audiobooks again after an 11 month hiatus is driving home how much more confident and relaxed in my performance I've become in the interim period. I've updated my website with several new samples, and I'm excited for more growth, new gigs, and an upcoming Space Marines trilogy B.R. Keid is working on!
